The Hideout Koh Yao Noi
Description
The Hideout is four treehouse villas built from locally sourced materials on the jungle hillside of Koh Yao Noi, overlooking Phang Nga Bay and the karst islands of southern Thailand. There is no electricity in the conventional sense, solar lighting only, no WiFi, no air conditioning, and no noise beyond the jungle and the sea.
It accommodates a maximum of eight guests at any time, which means the experience is consistently intimate and unhurried. Meals are prepared fresh daily using locally sourced ingredients, and the organic menu changes with what is available. Wellness packages include sound healing, daily meditation, massage, and guided nature experiences. The island itself is a working community of rubber plantations and fishing families, which adds an authenticity that more developed resort islands have long since lost.
